Anika Rose is a famous American performer and actress. Her most well-known role is the role of Tiana Disney's first African-American princess in The Princess and the Frog. Disney Legends listed her one of the 2011 Disney Legends. Rose was in the role of Lorrell Robinson in the Academy Award-winning film Dreamgirls. Anika Noni Rose (born on September 6, 1972) is an American actress and singer. Her most notable role is in the role of Tiana the Disney's first African American princess in The Princess and the Frog (2009). She was named a Disney Legend in 2011. Her name was also honoured for her performance in Dreamgirls (2006) in which she was awarded the Academy Award for Best Picture. On the Starz show Power she played LaVerne Jukebox Ganner. She's also well known for her stage work, especially for the starring role as Emmie Thibodeaux in the Broadway show Caroline or Change (2004) in which she won the Tony Award Best Musical Featured Performance award was presented to her. Also, she played Beneatha Youther, who played the role in the Broadway revival of A Raisin in the Sun (2015) where she received she was awarded the Tony Award Best Play Featured Performance was nominated for her.

Angelina Marie Pivarnick grew up in Staten Island. Pivarnick was a popular American celebrity in reality television after being invited to join the highly-respected cast of M.T.V.'s award-winning. series Jersey Shore in 2010 for only a handful of episodes during season one as well as season two.
