Kristin Fisher is joining CNN in 2021. She will be the Space and Defense Correspondent. In her role as Space and Defence Correspondent at CNN, she has to cover everything ranging from NASA and the newly formed Space Force up until commercial space companies, and even the rise and development of tourism to space. Kristin is mother of NASA astronauts as well as an enthusiastic space lover has spent her entire childhood in the field. She worked for five years in the position of White House correspondent for FOX News covering space policy in the Trump and Biden Administrations. While covering the two impeachment proceedings against the president as well as the 2020 Presidential Campaign as well as both administrations' efforts to limit the outbreak of coronavirus, Kristin covered a lot of other topics. Kristin traveled extensively, including both the president and vice-president. She was even on a top-secret trip to Afghanistan together with Donald Trump. Prior to joining the network in 2015, Kristin spent nearly a decade advancing through local TV news markets including Grand Junction, Colorado; Little Rock, Arkansas; and Washington, D.C. where she received the Emmy Award as a one-man-band reporter for the Washington, D.C.'s CBS affiliate. Kristin started Field Mouse Films with her skills behind the camera back in the year 2014. Field Mouse Films specialized in producing documentary films for corporate clients such as Uber and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin has an Bachelor of Science in Journalism which she earned from Boston University. Her husband and three year-old daughter reside in Washington, D.C.
